    THE NINTEX STORY

Brian Cook and Brett Campbell wanted to change the world. They founded Nintex in 2006 after realizing that transforming the way people work would do that.

That year, Brian and Steve Heaney, who is now Nintex’s Chief Technology Officer, developed the first version of Nintex Workflow, which enables people to quickly and easily automate processes into streamlined workflows. Nintex Workflow’s impact became clear when Brett was walking down a street in Berlin in 2008. A man saw his Nintex T-shirt, excitedly ran up to him and told him, “I love Nintex. It’s so cool.” Brett introduced himself as a Nintex founder and the man offered to buy him a drink. “To have that happen was so great,” Brett says.

Nintex launched Nintex Forms 2010 after executives received repeated requests for a forms product that was easy to use and accessible to business users. That year, executives gathered around a table to brainstorm company mottos. The winner? Workflow for Everyone. It perfectly summed up the widespread appeal of Nintex’s workflow platform.

“Everyone was saying, ‘My developers can use this, my business users can use it, the IT pros can understand it,’ ” Brett says. “An IT pro found it powerful, a business user found it easy and a developer found it sophisticated.”

That’s a big reason why John Burton decided to become Nintex’s CEO in September 2013 after years as an investor.

“It was really easy to use,” John says. “It was a way to build applications without having to depend on IT. It’s very powerful.”

"The people at Nintex are energetic, innovative, adaptive to change, clever and fun. It’s a very vibrant atmosphere. There is a constant flow of communication and people are highly motivated. It’s really rare that technology offers such great and immediate business benefits to customers. As an employee, you feel like you’re part of something big.” ~ Regional Sales Director Felix Gremlich

“It’s great to have your voice heard and have your opinions discussed and know you’re contributing toward the direction and the implementation of the products. It’s the #1 thing that I get out of developing. I get to the end of something and can say, ‘I built that.’ You get more satisfaction if you contributed to something more than writing code.” ~ Senior Developer Gavin Osborn
