Mavenlink

Mavenlink was founded in 2008 by Ray Grainger, Roger Neel, and Sean Crafts. The cofounders, colleagues at InQuira (and later at Oracle), developed a vision of bringing businesses together through software. Through an early collaboration with Pivotal Labs, we adopted the practice of pair programming, a rigorous, best-practice approach to writing robust software. That practice continues today, enabling rapid development of new features on a reliable code base. The company launched its software to the general public in 2010. In less than five years, we have grown to over 80 "Mavens" serving more than 550,000 users in more than 100 countries worldwide.

We have a complex product and we’ve built a technology stack that allows for continuous deployment with nearly zero downtime. We want you to ship something to production in your first week, if not on your first day. Every Mavenlink engineer majors in code and minors in product, so we all love working through data designs as well as complex user interactions. Whether its through pair-programming, flexible roles, or our obsession for quality test-driven code, our engineers--grasshopper to black belt--are always learning.
