Level 11 is a technology services and software product engineering firm with deep roots in experience design, innovation, and inventing new technologies. We develop cloud-based platforms that serve as the fabric of connected ecosystems, enabling new customer experiences by bridging real-world experiences via wearables, smart devices, and sensors with digital, online, big data analytics, and predictive behavioral systems. With deep backgrounds in software product development and management and technology consulting and a history of delivering innovative solutions with global partners, Level 11 is leading the technology industry with its award-winning results and culture.

Our experience positions Level 11 to innovate with connected ecosystems and the Internet of Things movement to deliver world-class experiences to customers, fans, guests, and patients. In addition to our consulting line of business, we validated an approach to developing cloud back-ends to Internet of Things ecosystems that is best addressed by a combination of highend, specialized services and a software framework. Through our Internet of Things platform, korl8, to our healthcare-focused, patient experience management ecosystem, cliniq.ly, Level 11 is positioned to capture significant market share in both industries and become a global leader in experience design and delivery.

As part of the Level 11 approach for delivering customer experiences, we plan to use our korl8 platform as a key experience engine, delivering solutions to trigger and enable the customer experiences spanning both physical environments and online digital worlds. korl8 provides a new CEM solution. CEM is the practice of capturing and analyzing what a company’s customers are experiencing with the goal of improving experiences and loyalty. korl8’s CEM platform captures customer data from multiple touch points (point of sale, websites, surveys, social media, mobile apps, etc.) and analyzes that data to gauge customer sentiment. Predictions based on the data can then be made which companies can use to influence customer behavior and, in turn, increase retention and monetization. korl8 shows companies where to invest to maximize customer loyalty, how to turn everyday customers into delighted customers, and can even help recover unsatisfied customers. Our cloud-based software product delivers amazing service and apps to help companies visualize and monetize their customers and provide location-based tracking systems for employers managing large employee populations or employees in remote and hazardous work environments. korl8 is designed to be used as the platform to deliver the Internet of Things.

Competitive Differentiation: We have a very experienced team in both technology software engineering and business and management consulting. The DNA of our partners was born from large market-leading corporations such as Accenture and Microsoft, seeded with nimble innovation from several successful startups, including Likewise Software (acquired by EMC/Isilon in 2012), and finally rounded out with both private equity and venture capital experience from several firms. Our founder, Mark Hadland, is a 14-year veteran of Accenture and delivered many large-scale, global technology solutions and programs for the Fortune 500. Our CTO, Manny Vellon, shipped many products at Microsoft and ran developer tools for over 10 years. His product roadmap spans Windows 1.0 to Visual C++ and Visual Studio. Our software engineering bench is very deep—most of our engineers have more than 20 years of software engineering experience—and includes key architects who led development efforts for Azure, Microsoft Exchange, etc. Our team is fully conversant in Microsoft and OpenStack/OpenSource platforms and has extensive experience with large, cloud-based NoSql platforms, such as AWS, Cloudera, CouchBase, Hadoop, Mongo, etc.
