Heymarket

We're a team of engineering and product who are working on our 2nd startup together. Manymoon, our previous startup, was the #1 app in the Google Apps Marketplace and subsequently acquired by Salesforce.

We love building business software, but in a way that people look forward to using it. That's accomplished by structuring the company and building the product like consumer internet companies. Our apps are built for end users, not managers or executives. Every feature is designed to be usable in minutes. No training or documentation required. Customers should have the time to fully use the product before upgrading. And when they're ready to upgrade, it should be a simple process with their credit card.

Heymarket was built from a personal frustration.

I purchased a coffee table from a small business and coordinated delivery over text messaging. About a month later, I received a text message from the small business owner that was clearly meant for someone else.

A number of businesses we met with said they were increasingly messaging customers instead of using email or the phone. While the world doesn’t need another messaging app, it does need an application like Heymarket for managing those messages. We built lightweight, mobile- and messaging-friendly versions of the powerful desktop features businesses expect when interacting with customers.

We just launched the product and already have thousands of businesses using it. Heymarket is being used by the professionals you interact with everyday: small businesses, realtors, personal trainers, and hair stylists.
