Healthshare has developed a range of digital products to make it easier for Australian consumers and healthcare professionals to access information that can help improve health outcomes.
Healthshare was established in 2010 as a result of the company founders struggling to find the right health information and health practitioners when their family members needed to address serious health issues. What they found was that internet searches for a health condition information or the right professional were often not relevant, developed for an overseas audience, from unreliable sources, or simply not up-to date. Thankfully, they got to the right outcomes eventually, but in the process, they realised that there were ways in which the internet could be used to support Australians in similar circumstances.
We have developed a range of products to make it easier for patients and healthcare professionals (General Practitioners, Specialists and Pharmacists) to access information that can help improve patient health outcomes. Healthshare also has a free service called SpecialistNow which assists patients in making an urgent appointment with a qualified Specialist.
