HCS Technologies specialises in helping second phase growth companies realise their potential by building bespoke platforms to manage their entire front to back operation.

The founder is Phil Hodey. Phil spent 25 years working in Investment Banking in London & Singapore. He has built up an extensive network of contacts from his time in the city and has leveraged this network to build some great products. His experience at Managing Director and COO level from his time in finance brings a different perspective to delivering high quality solutions to his customers.

Our stack is based upon Google Cloud technologies and we make heavy use of Google Firebase in all of our apps.

We have built numerous solutions for clients and also have built a number of products in the Maritime Security space that we now sell and license to companies around the world.

Example Projects:

Maritime Security Logistics: Platform to support the operational requirements of a maritime security company. Includes weapons registration and tracking, personnel tracking. Transit planning, regulatory reporting, MIS, finance and more.

Film Marketing: Working with a large media company responsible for the creation of location specific marketing for Hollywood films. Work included a password free secure portal for streaming/viewing of promotional material (trailers/posters etc), internal workflows for creation and tracking of media.

Charity: A charity linked to the BBC Children in Need appeal, responsible for the distribution of funds to children and young people across the UK. We built the front end applications system for grant applications as well as the internal workflow systems for the evaluation and awarding of grants. Includes a new project using Elastic/Kibana stack for advanced analytics.

Bitcoin Trading ; Currently building a trading front end for a Bitcoin trading/clearing startup.
