    Working @ FareHarbor

Over a decade ago, our founders wanted to reserve surfboards online in Hawaii. Tourism businesses rarely took bookings online and when they did, the systems were unreliable. So our founders set out to change this…

Today, we are the #1 booking software in the market powering billions of experiences for 20,000+ businesses across the globe. FareHarbor is built by a growing team of engineers in San Francisco and Amsterdam. We’re a quickly growing company with a robust product that tens of thousands of people rely on to run their businesses every day.

The team here plays a tremendous role in determining the direction of the product and therefore FareHarbor as a whole. We face interesting engineering challenges that are critical to keeping the tours and activities industry running. You will have the opportunity to have an enormous impact on a successful company as we continuously work to be the leading partner to experience providers in a changing digital world.

    Hiring @ FareHarbor

We conduct our interviews virtually to make it easier on everyone. Our process is simple: we start with a casual phone call with someone on our team. We'll discuss your experience and expectations and what it's like to work at FareHarbor and on the team. Assuming that goes smoothly we arrange a more technical conversation oriented around you solving a coding challenge with a member of our team. The goal here is to get a feeling for your approach to problem solving, how you communicate and your coding style.

Pending the role, we may then send you a take-home technical assessment, then invite you to a virtual meet the team. We'll dig deeper into your technical skillset and try to give you a sense of what a day at FareHarbor is like. We'll talk code, systems design, testability, and anything else you're good at. After that (hopefully) we make a formal offer that you accept!
