The FanBread Story

In 2008, FanBread's founder, Karl, became part of the core team at DECA that helped build a brand called Smosh. Smosh started as a large channel on YouTube and has since evolved to become one of the most powerful teen media brands on the planet. Karl left DECA at the end of 2013 to take his learnings from Smosh and apply them to other influencer communities. FanBread has productized the success of Smosh and now makes it available to influencers of all shapes and sizes.

The first FanBread customer, GeeksterInk.com, launched in February of 2015 and within a few months has already received more than 500,000 visitors. GeeksterInk leveraged FanBread's mobile site builder and content marketplace to drive traffic from its social channels into its site.

Hiring and Culture

Our tech team is small, hardworking and nimble and we're looking for a few more awesome engineers to join the squad to help us grow. We are growing quickly, having added 25 of the top influencers to our platform since launch. We've got a low-key but high-performance culture, with strong accountability paired with total transparency about our business performance. Everybody acts like an owner in the business and isn't afraid to engage in constructive conflict to discover the right answers to a question. We use data to make decisions, take intelligent risks, and focus on company success above personal ambition. We set ambitious goals and work hard to achieve them, and are focused on results (not activities).
