Compology

We’re an SF-based startup with a distributed network of cameras installed in dumpsters and long-haul truck trailers across North America. We apply machine learning to the data that these cameras upload to track container contents, fullness and location.

Fortune 500 companies and the country’s biggest waste haulers use our product to manage their operations and meet their sustainability goals (e.g., by having Compology automatically spot non-recyclable material in a dumpster before it pollutes the recycling stream).

The Compology team fuses high tech expertise with a scrappy, get stuff done mentality. Individually, we’ve built satellites at NASA, operated waste collection & disposal companies, and run ultra-marathons. Together, we share a passion for building rugged, elegant technology that solves real problems.
