No red tape- engineers come onboard to put code into production quickly, and to physically be able to see what he or she builds for the end user, who are pet parents!

Chewy's Boston office is an engineering focused office, established April 2017. The office seats 200+ team members to date, 90% of the team members are engineers.

The engineering teams are co-located between Chewy's two corporate offices (Boston & South Florida.) As the engineering teams grow, they are keeping their scrum teams centrally localized. This allows team members to world collaboratively and face to face on a daily basis.
