We were frustrated hotel guests and travelers. Every hotel we encountered had similar inefficiencies; requests would fall through the cracks and staff members could not account for why such instances occurred. In today’s on-demand world it did not make sense to us that hotel staff were not able to communicate with each other in a transparent and accountable manner, and that guests could not leverage mobile technology in an industry as dynamic as travel.
Until ALICE, hotels have had to work around department-specific, outdated and restrictive software. We have built a platform that disrupts this by allowing an entire hotel to run one software across its departments, effectively disrupting the industry by minimizing disruptions in workflow. Our mission is for ALICE to be the one solution that works across the entire hotel, breaking down the barriers that exist between guest and staff and staff and staff (and even hotel to hotel), and empowering staff to receive, manage and execute all guest and internal requests for every department.
As the boundaries of hospitality continue to shift, ALICE is being built as a fully configurable platform that will fit any operation, providing a hospitality solution that not only serves all departments within a hotel, but all other hospitality verticals as well (think workspaces, residential and assisted-living, among others).
ALICE is introducing cloud computing, strong design and intuitive interfaces to a world in which legacy systems and software have not been inspired to innovate in years, nor cater to staff or guests who are accustomed to user-friendly mobile tools, real-time information and the conveniences of our on-demand world.
