ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Analytics and Strategy will be responsible for driving a wide variety of cross-functional, high impact projects and initiatives with a large degree of autonomy and visibility. This role will partner with the Executive Team and business leaders in identifying value-add analyses that result in operational and strategic business decisions. The Director of Analytics and Strategy will report to the CFO.

 

WHAT WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH

  • Lead and develop a team of high performing business and data analysts
  • Deliver strategic projects (e.g. unit economics, LTV, marketing ROI, predictive models, client and candidate analytics) that provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Revenue, and Engineering teams
  • Work closely with the Data Infrastructure team to drive best practices around data integrity
  • Communicate data-driven recommendations clearly to the company’s executive team and investors
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities
  • Significant experience driving decisions in a fast-paced, high growth environment

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7-10 years experience in a business analytics environment
  • 3+ years experience leading, managing and mentoring analytics teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to simplify the complex
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in statistical programming environments like R or Python
  • Demonstrated knowledge of probability, statistics, machine learning and predictive modeling
  • Resourceful and self-sufficient
  • Top-notch communication and presentation skills, including experience communicating analyses through data with executives
  • Self-starter and ability to own projects from initial question development to rollout
  • Skilled at prioritizing
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
