ABOUT THE ROLE

Hired is looking for a Manager of Business Development to help drive excellence for our Outbound sales team.

WHAT WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH:

  • Build, train, develop and inspire a quickly growing team of 4-8 outbound BDRs in Toronto, CAN
  • Coach BDRs on towards prospecting and qualifying excellence as well as general professional development
  • Identify areas of opportunity for increased efficiency and greater results
  • Assist in the continued development of the Hired BDR playbook and strategy for inbound and outbound lead generation
  • Working internally with the Director of Sales in creating action plans for team objectives and ensuring growth targets are met
  • Orchestrate and collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • 3-5 years of experience leading a Business Development team or 5+ years of direct full-cycle sales experience
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication ability
  • Results oriented leader
  • A track record of proven results
  • Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate with sales, operations, and marketing teams
  • Desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Comfortable with constructive conflict
  • Growth Mindset, can do attitude

THESE WOULD ALSO BE NICE:

  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRMs
  • Experience selling within a B2B or SaaS environment
  • Experience in the Recruiting or Talent Solutions industry
  • BA/BS degree or higher from a top university
