Planning Your Timeline

One of the biggest benefits of participating in the Hired marketplace is our  extremely efficient timeline. In a one week period, you might end up connecting with multiple companies you love -- and may even get a few paper offers within the month.

Because of this, it is very important to have a relatively clear schedule -- so utilize  this timeline to determine when you should participate in a Hired batch:

Create your profile; hear back in 48 hours

If you are in one of our key markets & skill set areas, typically you will be approved within 48 hours of submitting your profile. Want to know if you’ll be approved? Check out a rundown of Our Approval Process

Connect with Companies in less that a week

Once you are approved you'll be slotted into the next batch and set to go live the following Monday. Unless you note otherwise, our goal is to get you connected with top tier companies as quickly as possible. Spend time familiarizing yourself with How Hired Works

Introducing your Talent Advocate

If you get approved, you will get introduced to your Talent Advocate a few days before your batch starts. If you need help polishing your profile, prepping for interviews, talking about compensation or culture fit, your Talent Advocate is here for you.

One Week of Introductions!

As long as your profile is complete, your profile will appear on the marketplace starting at midnight on the Monday of the batch you were slotted for. Your profile will then be visible for up to 4 weeks. During this time, make sure to check your email often and respond to any interview requests you receive within 48 hours of receiving them. If things don’t work out the first time, reach out to your talent advocate who can put you in for a second week.

A Few Weeks of Interviews!?

Interviewing with more than a couple companies can be time intensive -- in fact, it takes, on average, 10-15 business days for an introductory offer to turn into a final paper offer. Expect a non-trivial amount of preparation and phone time to make it through each process - as well as onsite interviews that sometimes require taking a day off from your current job.

We also recommend that you hold off on any additional searching while you are live on the platform to ensure you have the bandwidth to pursue all relevant opportunities. Don’t book a vacation or any big trips while interviewing as it can derail your entire interviewing process.

I am a current student and will be looking for my first job in a few months, when should I join Hired?

The best time to join Hired is a few months before graduation. If you are graduating in May or June, then you should enter in February or March. If you are graduating in December, early fall is best. If you think you will have a full time job offer lined up before then, you can submit your profile and we will consider including you in an earlier batch. Generally speaking, our bar for recent graduates and interns is very high so the closer you are to a potential start date the higher priority you will have for getting into the next batch.

If you have any additional questions about the interview process, don’t be afraid to reach out to your Talent Advocate.
