picme is a mobile marketplace for crowdsourced event photos. Spectators provide participants with affordable photos, greater selection and immediate availability.

We are co-founders Ben and Nico, and we are on a mission to disrupt the event photography space, concentrating first on sports events such as running and cycling races. Today, photos are expensive, generic and take time to be published. We want to harness the crowd to become the event photographers, providing participants with photos that are cheaper, more authentic and available soon after the race.
We are looking for a technical co-founder to bring on board to take care of the technical side of things at picme, including bringing in in-house the automated tagging of bib numbers and shirt colour recognition. At the moment we are using external APIs such as google's OCR image recognition software. Our current tech is outsourced and in Objective C (front-end) and PHP (back-end).
The CTO will be given a competitive salary and equity as well as company perks.
