    At One Medical, we create technology that builds and empowers relationships between our patients and clinicians. We recently joined forces with Amazon and, together, Amazon and One Medical will help more people get better care, when and how they need it. Since 2007, One Medical has been on a mission to help transform health care through its human-centered and technology-powered model that makes it convenient for people to access the care they need through its seamless in-person and virtual services. With Amazon, we have our sights set on making it even easier for customers to to get and stay healthy, delivering further positive impacts for consumers, employers, care teams and health networks.

    Most healthcare organizations buy third-party software, cobbling together the needs of their business across disparate, specialized, and isolated tools. Our interest is in creating an ecosystem of technology with which our clinicians can practice the best possible health care. We call that ecosystem 1Life. We’ve built our technology from the ground up to be integrated across our organization and, moreover, to make communication and collaboration easy, connecting our members to our care teams, and our care teams to each other.

    Our philosophy on a remote-first workforce

    One Medical is reimagining what work looks like. We know our teams can do incredible work even when they can't be together in the office, and our team members appreciate the flexibility provided by remote work. Most of our technology team members work a remote or hybrid schedule. As a national company, we welcome team members from all corners of the United States.

    How we interview and hire

    We are committed to providing an exceptional candidate experience, and we firmly believe interviewing should be a two-way street. We encourage you to ask lots of questions and explore if One Medical is a good fit for your career goals.

    Our interview process varies a bit depending on the role, but it typically starts with a relaxed conversation with one of our recruiters. We’ll discuss details of the role, One Medical’s culture, and your career aspirations, and both determine whether One Medical is a mutual fit.

    After that, candidates speak to the hiring manager and participate in a technical interview, where we’ll assess your relevant technical skills. Finally, you’ll get the chance to talk to 3-5 other team members so they can get to know your areas of expertise and you can evaluate your potential new team.
