At Judicata, we mix technology with legal expertise in order to make powerful research tools that give unprecedented insights. Our focus on accuracy and innovation is matched only by our commitment to hiring the best.
We’re a small team of twelve with engineering and legal backgrounds spanning from Google to the United States Court of Appeals, and we’ve partnered with two of the most visionary investors in Silicon Valley — Peter Thiel and Khosla Ventures.
Ours is a uniquely collaborative environment that fuses engineering, law, product and design. Building an ontology of the law requires a deep understanding of natural and legal language. We leverage advanced language technologies and legal experience to organize the law in ways previously only dreamed of.
We understand that searching for a new role can be laborious and time consuming. We also know it is crucial that candidates get all the information they need. We’ve designed our interview process to offer ample opportunity for you to get to know Judicata.
Our interviews kick off with a 30 minute call with our CEO and Co-founder, Itai. This is all about you getting to know us and getting answers to all the questions you have.
After speaking with Itai, you’ll speak with our other Co-founder, Adam. This call takes about forty-five minutes and has a coding component, but is also designed to allow for additional questions about Judicata’s technology. If all goes well, the next step is an offline coding challenge. This is an opportunity for you to learn about the types of problems we encounter, and for us to get a sense of how you think. We've received a lot of feedback that it’s fun, too!
The last step is a half-day onsite interview with the rest of the team -- three technical interviews with two engineers each. You’ll meet everyone, both engineering and non-engineering, and join us for lunch as well. At the end of the day, we hope you’ll leave feeling that you’ve had all your questions answered and typically we are able to make an offer that same day.
